1. Common sense

Having common sense is one of the most important skills to have in life, and yet many people do not utilize it. This refers to the basic intelligence and logic used to deal with basic every day situations and solve basic problems in life.
This ability involves thinking about what you’re doing at any one time, being more aware and not forgetting little details which could be important later.

2. Communication or social skills

Having a logical structure to what you say is very important. The way you speak to people and what you say will enable you to develop relationships with them, at work, with your friends etc.
This is a skill that will help you in all areas of your life, whether it’s meeting new people on travels or starting a business. It is such a great asset to combine with other skills which is the recipe for success.

3. Mastering the money

Money management is an important skill to everyone. Lack of this could lead to serious situation in person’s life where he could manage to lose all his life’s saving due to either having a bad spending habit or a bad investment decision.
Money has the power to create or the power to destroy. One thing is for sure: you must master money, or it will master you.

4. Empathy

This skill will help to understand others plight and their feelings which makes your social life easier. Not only that but empathy also will help you form your own morals that will guide you in making good choices and become a better person.

5. Time management skills

Time efficiency is not only helpful in school or on our job, it is increasingly valuable the older we get, for the older we get the less and less time we will have, until we retire. To effectively manage our time, we need to eliminate the unnecessary, plan your work, learn to multitask, know when to multitask and reduce interruptions.

Are you in lost and in a midlife crisis?

Everyone, if not, most of us will come to a point in our lives when we feel the sense of lost or perhaps the feeling of lost direction due to getting to a certain adulthood age.

If you feel you are like in a dark place, similarly in a dark tunnel, just remember to be optimistic. This is normal and it doesn’t necessarily mean you have to ignore the dark place you feel you were in, it is merely how you perceive the situation, that it is only a phase in your life and at the end of it, you’ll see light just like reaching near the end of the dark tunnel.

What you need to do in this times

The key here is that you have to find ways what you want to really do in your life at this point forward. Do not think about your job or your finances first. Know first deep in your heart, think deeply in your mind and see it through what you really want to do and accomplish in your life, and once you are sure about it, other personal decisions or views will follow.

You have identified what you want to do. What’s next?

If all things are clear with you, everyday you can allot a time to build a path towards reaching that goal on whatever you want to do with your life. It’s something you prepare on the side while you do your main job for e.g. It is going to be a building process from now on and may take a lot of time, but eventually, definitely you’ll be able to see the progress along the way and for sure, you will know if you are getting near towards it. Once you reach it at the end, I am sure everything will make perfect sense for you and it will all worth the effort.

Thanks for reading this post. This is something that I am personally going through right now and I want to share the steps I have taken and still to be taking. I hope and pray that everything will go according to my plan and imagination. Until to my next post update 🙂

Humans can also learn life lessons from other creatures

Last night, I have captured a video of a home lizard that seems like he’s very tired from his day, but he’s still very persistent to hold on to the wall and tries get back up.

Home lizard at home being persistent hold and get back up

As watch the lizard crawls in the wall, I kind of make a self reflection of it that, this lizard somehow teaches or reminds me to stay persistent, even at the lowest feeling or tiredness I feel, I got to continue and do what i need to do to accomplish whatever my task at hand.

My greatest takeaway in this

Sometimes, it’s the littlest things such as this, that can show us the lessons in life that we can reflect on. Because from them, we can definitely learn as well.

Post parting words

Thanks for reading my short post about my captured moment from our home lizard 🙂 and the lessons that I thought about it.

Personal Stories

Never give up on your plan. There will be times that your interest will fade, but still never give up, even if it takes a lifetime.

All of us have plans in our life, it can be in the form of career, business, family or whatever personal goals we want to reach in the future. Few people were lucky to get to the finish line quickly, some can get it towards their twilight zone lifetime (i mean at their old age), but in reality many were stuck in the middle of it and lost their interest to continue reaching its final goals. Why is that the case?

Having your own family can alter your goals

Photo by Emma Bauso on Pexels.com

There were many factors in life that leads us to change our life goal direction, or even stop to that extent. A very common example factor is having a family at young age. Having your own family, kids basically means you will have a responsibility to take care and provide for them. You are forced to kind of have a different perspective from that point, leading you to inch away to your original plans. Your interest is focused on the family now.

Whatever the case maybe, you have to have the ability to balance it out. Always have time to continue your life long plans/goals.

I will set myself as an example, not that good one but fair enough. I have a life long dream to become a philanthropist (become rich and help other people who are in needs), let’s say like bill gates. I really admire what he’s been doing, he’s a successful businessman, multi billionaire and most importantly, he finds ways to make a better world for everyone mostly for the poor communities and in needs. I’d like to be that someday as my plan, of course aside from my dream of being an astronaut 🙂

I had my family when I was 29 years old and I am 34 right now. Whilst I am busy with my career and taking care of my family, I am continuously finding my ways to reach that. Despite the financial mistakes that I’ve done previously, I’ve recently moving forward in the right direction, I am budgeting my income (family needs and small investment in the side) and this blogging platform. For now, I am writing positive stuff/stories that if ever people gets that chance to read my blogs and eventually take away something out of it like a lesson, I am very much satisfied and definitely will be happy. Somehow I can feel my life long goal is slightly reached, but for sure, it’s not enough and I will still have that goal set in my mind.

Fading interest in your life plans. Think your plans as if it is your life quest.

Photo by Andrea Piacquadio on Pexels.com

There will be times and phases in your life that you will loose your interest with your plans. You will mostly feel that whenever you get tired on your current situation. But the thing here is that, you have to have the ability to get back in the track and never lose sight on your life plans. For me, whenever I feel I am losing my sight of my plans, losing my interest, I will just think of positive thoughts, that I need to do it as if it is my purpose of my life, my quest and this part is just a challenge that I have to conquer. From that point, my mindset will be back and get focused again.

What is the best inheritance you could possibly give to your children?

Advertisements

Writing this short article before I go to sleep today. It becomes my routine recently to think deeply what happened in the past and imagine scenarios what will happen in the future. One thing pops up to my mind recently is, what is the best thing I could possibly give or to be inherited by my children from me before my twilight zone comes?

It is really a deep dive thought from me because I can work very hard to provide a lot of material stuff for my children moving forward to make sure they can get education, shelter and own savings to help for their future plans in their lives, but honestly, whenever I thought of those, I know that those are tangible things that they can lost in a lot of means.

I’ve thought so much about this the past couple of months and have realized the best thing to give to my children while I am here with them are the lessons of life, my life.

Advertisements

Aside from the material stuff that I will work hard to provide for them, that will only be a secondary. The primary important thing I believe is the best for them is to storytell as much as possible the lessons in every aspects of life such as:

  • How is important to become responsible and what implications that could happen if you will not assert this trait.
  • Be honest to your loved ones and to yourself.
  • Admit to your mistakes and you may never correct those but avoid doing the same mistakes as much as can going forward.
  • Live a humble and simple life. Life is not about living it to the fullest, it is not about how much your wealth is, it’s how you become genuinely happy with life by being with your loved ones and making an impact in their lives and in the lives of other people by doing good things.

These are some of the life lessons I have thought I would share and storytell my children whenever I get the chance to tell them as these are intangible things they can acquire and be with them for the rest of their lives and surely will be inherited by their kids as well.

Post parting words

Thanks for reading this blog post. I know if you are a parent, we have a mutual understanding in regards to this towards our children. Do you have other ideas to share about this? Please let me know from the comments section.

One of the best skills you can have or acquire in life is to remain Calm

Advertisements

Writing up on something I’ve realized recently and wanted to share. Many people doesn’t have the ability to remain calm in times of troubles, but this is a very important skill that one must possess in order to resolve effeciently whatever problem or bad situation you may be in this life.

How to master the art of calmness

The mastery of remaining calm comes from changing the way the mind thinks. To exercise patience and positive thoughts instead of freaking out or panicking. One way to remain calm is to remind self of something very stressful or uncomfortable from the past and comparing it to the current situation. Living through extreme or ridiculous situations help to keep everything in perspective, and help to master to remain calm and collected.

Whenever you are stressed out, angry, or about to lose it, remember to remain calm, and spread the calmness and surround yourself with those who are also calm.

Post parting words

I am still in the process of mastering to be calm in any situations I am in. So far I see good results in my life as I can be more productive and resolve conflicts/problems more effeciently. It applies to my work, my family, health and personal growth as a person.

Thank you for reading this post. I hope I was able to share some helpful information that you can also apply to your life somehow and make a good impact. If this is helpful, please check out my other post related to this health and wealth topics that can also be useful for you and to share.

Thanks in advance.

Why do we feel we are getting old a bit faster?

Advertisements

Writing this short blog as I have realized something important I wanted to share with you guys.

Our youthful days

Remember when you were a kid, you have all the time to explore the things around you. Sometimes, it gets to a point that you get bored because the time seems very slow to pass by. But, as a kid I remember that I am so much happy when I first:

  • Play the bubbles
  • Get to see a rainbow in the sky
  • Catch a dragonfly
  • Heard a sound of a cricket
  • Put my created paper boat to a water flowing down the curbs of the streets

A lot of new things unfold when you are a kid because of one important factor that is, you have TIME.

Our Adulthood

Being an adult, we are in the stage of our lives wherein we have different kinds of responsibilities, may it be on the family, work, business and other activity stuff that we get busy with and consume most of our TIME on a daily basis. Do you notice that the time flies fast? Also, do you feel the time isn’t enough for you to accomplish those things you have to do for today? Well, those are the things you’ll feel and get being an adult. But one thing is for sure that many of us, adults tend to forget the essential things that we do as a kid.

The reality is..

Yes, it is very important that as adults, we do what we have to do with our responsibilities in life. However, doing these things alone will eventually have an impact on us, and one of which is to make us feel that time runs out very quickly. In effect, it will get us look older physically in a more faster way.

There is a saying that, “We our old enough to play like kids, but in reality, we are not playing like kids anymore that’s why we are getting old”

If we follow the logic in here, being a kid, the time seems very slow to pass by, but being an adult makes the opposite effects. So I think, it is essential for us, adults to find time to play and think like kids so we can take a break from stressful ways of adults. Explore things around us like kids, like looking at the flock of birds flying, imagine what clouds are trying to form, check the stars constellations or anything you could think of what a child can think of around them – these will have a positive impact in our mind and body if we do this regularly.

Caution: Play and think like a child but not act childishly as this might get you into trouble. lol 🙂

Post parting words

Thank you for reading this blog. I hope you’ve get something positive out of it and help you in a little way moving forward in your life. I hope you can also read my other blogs, follow and share.

Thanks in advance.
