Year ending updates on the WordAds revenue tractions

Hey online folks, last July 2nd this year 2020 I’ve wrote an article about my enthusiasm in having my first ever revenue traction for my WordAds. The reason I want to do this is to really share with my other bloggers mainly whose using WordPress and WordAds as well like myself. Plus, to document my progress as well and the information behind it, so in the future once I reached my peak, I would know where I came from (step by step & bit by bit) in which makes it more sweet!

Anyway, before going to my updates now December 10th of this year 2020, if you guys are curious with my previous article regarding this, go check it out here in this LINK which the title is “Finally, I am seeing some revenue tractions to my blog using WordAds

Onto now with my updates:

Month of November 2020

As you see in above chart, my Average CPM is at $0.22 dollars for 1,192 ADS Served in which equates to $0.26 revenue for the month of November.

Week 2 – Month of December 2020

And as you see in above chart for the current month of December (2nd week only), my Average CPM is at $0.11 dollars for 964 ADS Served in which equates to $0.11 revenue.

Note that in the past months, I haven’t had any movement ($0.00) except last June which I had my first revenue tractions (ADS Served: 1,304 | Average CPM: $0.02 | Revenue: $0.02)

Actually, am not quite sure why is that but I think it really depends on the number of impressions and ADS served you have on a daily or monthly basis which is why my this November last month, I started to increase and pick up more site impressions, hence qualifies me to get the CPM.

As we know CPM is the amount you pay on an advertising platform per thousand views for your ad. Cost per thousand impressions or CPM, in the online marketing world, literally means “Cost per thousand” in which the “thousand” refers to the number of impressions. Impressions are the views you get with your site, just to add.

How I think we can get or increase our CPM percentage?

I think in my perspective, to increase the percentage of your CPM, you got to get an increase of site impressions as well. And to do that, there’s 2 ways I can think of: one is to increase the number of your articles/posts in your website and second, of course the increasing good quality of the content (good SEO post title, engaging topic, well written article and adding more visuals to it like images and videos)

Now, in my previous post I have shared my site’s statistics for a reference. I’ll share again what I have at moment below:

  • Currently, I have 77 articles/posts on my blog site
  • I have 73 WordPress followers
  • I have 1,456 social media followers in my Facebook page

Post parting words

Just to share my personal reaction, I am quite happy where I am at right now and where I am heading to. I am only halfway a year as a Blogger and just about a couple of months as a Vlogger and getting this increasing viewers and followers is such a great feeling and rewarding.

If you have any questions or you want to share yours about this topic, please feel free to comment down below and let’s have a chat about it 😊👌

How To Become An Effective FULL STACK Content Creator? (For 2021 and Beyond)
Advertisements

In this article, I will be introducing a new terminology that I thought would be fitting if you are a Vlogger and a Blogger at the same time like myself. Also, I’ll share how we can be effective in this field.

I’d like to introduce to you to the term “Full Stack” and what does it mean. In technology development, Full Stack refers to an entire computer system or application from the front end to the back end and the code that connects the two.

If you are in the world of I.T or Information Technology, I’m pretty sure you have already heard the term “Full Stack Developer” wherein it is a person who can develop using both Frontend and Backend of a website application. Similarly as to what “Full Stack Designer” is, where it has a range of skills including UX and UI design, coding, copyrighting, etc.

There’s also what they call Full Stack Marketers who is someone able to manage a lot of marketing operations from creative parts down to the most technical aspects.

In my perspective, if you are a blogger (writing articles for your web blog) and at the same time you are a vlogger (who regularly makes video blogs or vlogs) then YOU ARE A FULL STACK CONTENT CREATOR. Sounds cool right?!

Now. Wait. You may ask. “Isn’t that difficult to sustain and manage both of your Blog site and YouTube channel?”

Well, my answer is “Yes” But, I will give you tips on how you can do that both at the same time and become an EFFECTIVE FULL STACK CONTENT CREATOR.

Advertisements

Let’s assume you have already a setup Blog website and a YouTube channel. Here are some of my tips that I practice as well:

  • Synchronize your niche topic for both of your Blog and Vlog. For e.g. if you blog about gaming, types of games, or how you play a specific game. It will be efficient if that will be your niche topic in your vlog also.
  • Reuse your vlog script for your blog write ups or article. I think most of the Vloggers creates their scripts before recording or going live stream for their vlogs. Make sure when you make your scripts, do it in a way that it is readily available or formatted for blogging like putting title headers, outlines, lists, etc.
  • Exchange references or add links for both of your Vlog and Blog. For e.g. in your Vlog, add a link of your Blog in your channel’s description or even on the video description. Likewise, you add references, links or video embed of your Vlog episode in your Blog article. This will help both platforms gain organic views eventually.
  • Try to post both of your Vlog episode and Blog article sequentially (If both contains the same topic)
  • Lastly, if you are creating a Google Campaign Ads for either your Blog post or YouTube video, make sure it contains a reference with each other so that it can impact views or engagements results both ways, making your Ads very efficient. In my upcoming vlogs, I’ll cite some concrete examples about this part.

That’s it. Try to follow and practice these tips and become and effective FULL STACK CONTENT CREATOR.

By the way, since I provided the tips, I’ll cite an example here right away 🙂

If you are more of a visual person and want to learn by watching, here’s a version of this topic in my recently uploaded vlog in my YouTube Channel.

Welcome to my Vlog channel on Youtube

I have been quite busy for awhile with my work and at the same time prepping for my Vlog channel on Youtube.

What’s the Vlog about?

Today, I am launching my Vlog channel on youtube wherein I share about the topics I’ve shared or posted here on my blog site but it is more like of a podcast since I discuss the topics there in details more or less. Also, one special about it is that I’ve specially learn and made an animation of myself using adobe anime cc, just to use it for my Vlog as I can’t really go out myself there in person due to being an introvert. Thankfully, I’ve came up with this great idea and allowed me to still do what I want to do.

Increase you blog site traffic through interacting, asking questions and creating a space in Quora

Recently, I’ve been exploring certain platforms I can use to boost my blog site traffic. Aside from the social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and Instagram, I have found out that Quora is one of the best platform you can use to promote your blog articles.

What is Quora and how it will help me as a blogger?

Advertisements

Quora is a question and answer website platform wherein its contents are all coming from users – meaning you can either create/post a question or answer to a question posted from it. There are various spaces (these are like categories) you can look such as career, health, music, etc. – categories you may add to you spaces tab to get notifications/feeds specifically to it.

Quora website basically has 300 million monthly active users. As I blogger, interacting to the site by posting your unique question or using your informative articles to answer questions and sharing the link to your blog at the same time could potentially make a drastic increase on my site’s traffic (hopefully I can make another post soon for an update on this as I’ve just started becoming active to the site and still have little traction gained from it)

Sharing to you the link here to Quora website and to my created space “Get back to basics” as well, if you may want to check and interact with me there. Appreciate it.

One of the most wanted companies to work with | I dreamed of working with

I’ve always been a person who appreciates the company I’ve come to work with in the past, whether they’ve been a great employer to me or not. But there are really companies that you really admired, dreamed to work and deserves to be on the world’s top companies because they were pro-employees – basically cared and looked out for their employee’s welfare in all aspects.

I have several companies that I dreamed to work in including Microsoft, but one of those that stands most is the tech giant Google.

What do I love about Google

I’ve heard a lot of great stuffs or the perks in working at Google like the free food, gym, item discounts, in house doctors, and massages. Some of these are the great to have and other top companies also have, but what I loved the most from what I’ve read about working at Google is their professional and personal development program for their employees.

If you have watched the movie ‘The Internship’ starring Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson, it’s a great depiction of how Google is such a great workplace. First is their world class working environment ambiance.

They have a very employee friendly working environment where you can be like a child in a Disneyland. It is such a stress reliever when you work, you can at anytime go to a place and sort of distress in whatever you do. I think this way by Google will allow you to be more productive and enables you to maximize your full potential as a resource.

Post parting words

I honestly think, all of these perks is built in from the company’s culture. Google executives really understands how things will work for its company’s growth, will also rely to their employees overall welfare and development.

Thank you for reading this post. I only wish that other companies can also adapt to this kind of mindset of providing also a great environment/workplace and really extends their care for their employees as this will also help them strive hard and become the best employees for your growth.

Blog vs. Vlog | Which is better?

Today, I thought of an article wherein I want to make a short comparison of Blog versus Vlog. Which is the better platform for the people. Let’s try to differentiate it first.

Advertisements

What is Blog?

Photo by Kaboompics .com on Pexels.com

A shortened version of the term “weblog”, is an online journal or content sharing of a person’s experiences, observation, opinions, etc., usually in the form of text, images and links to other weblogs.

What is Vlog?

Photo by Karolina Grabowska on Pexels.com

Similarly with Blog, this is also an online journal or content sharing but this is in the form a personal website or social media account where a person regularly posts short videos.

Which is better between Blog and Vlog?

This question doesn’t really have a concrete answer because it will always depends on the person you will ask. It is like asking which is a better sport, basketball or football?, boxing or mixed martial arts? Basically, the answer with these questions will vary to every person. But if you will ask me, obviously my answer would weigh more for Blog. Although I will be expounding my answer and try to balance it.

To be quite honest, I am a very visual person and I spend more time watching stuff on Youtube and Netflix rather than reading. But if a question pops up in my mind (btw happens to me all the time), or I am curious about something, I would always go in the google and search for that stuff and read. Most of the time, I found my answers to my questions on the blogs I come across as I searched rather than going to youtube and search for the answers. So for these reasons aside from being a Blogger myself, Blog still weighs more for me as I get specific answers to my specific questions/curiosity. Again, it will still be different for others indeed.

Another But.., entertainment-wise, it will be Vlog that weighs more for me. So to conclude my personal opinion or view on this, Blog and Vlog does have their own offering and strength that it can’t be compared with each other. It is like comparing Jordan and Lebron actually, as they have a different skillset and generation. Having Michael Jordan (for Blog) and Lebron James (for Vlog), so I leave it to you with that 😀

Post parting words

Thanks for reading my blog post about blog and vlog, lol. crazy topic right? but all fun and good comparison anyway. I hope you can also checkout my other blog posts on various categories I also cover.

Thanks in advance.

Finally, I am seeing some revenue tractions to my blog using WordAds
Advertisements

Hello there. I am writing up this post as I want to share some exciting news, for me at least 🙂 But honestly, I’ve been waiting to see some movements on the revenue side of my blog using WordAds. You may find it really insignificant or over reaction from me but this is really a milestone for my blog (considering I’ve only started my blog last may and running it for about 2 months) and I am very happy with it.

So to quickly jump on it, here’s my revenue stats last week (June month-end):

WordAds revenue for the last week of June 2020

So if you noticed, for 200 ADS Served for that week I’ve gotten an Average CPM of $0.05 which gives a Revenue of $0.01 – this is not really bad at all as I’ve seen with other related articles reports about WordAds.

Advertisements

Also, I have another one for this first week of July:

WordAds revenue for the first week of July 2020

This week first of July, I was able to get 78 ADS Served and gotten an Average CPM of $0.13 which again gives me a Revenue of $0.01 – which again, I think not bad.

I don’t really have much idea and explanations why I got this numbers actually, but I think based on the things I’ve read online and also when I have contacted WordPress support, the revenue of WordAds varies and depends on a lot of factors including the site’s visits region/country (i guess this also depends on the content also you have on your blog), the amount of traffic you get, number of blog posts, etc.

One thing that I can also share that supports this revenue data is that I get my second most visitors to United States (US) that could be a huge factor to get a high cpm rate or revenue. Here’s my current list of visitors’ region/country:

Another information I want to share that adds up to this:

  • Currently, I have 30 posts on my blog site
  • I have WordPress reader 29 followers
  • I have a Twitter and LinkedIn connected to my blog (but no Facebook anymore as my site got blocked by it, sadly)
  • No email subscribers yet (can you be my first one?)

Post parting words

Overall, I am very happy to where my blog site right now and I very much looking forward for it to progress more and become more visible across the google search, social media, etc.

I hope this post also shed some light if you are a novice blogger who puts ads on your blog (WordAds specifically) and can take in important factors that will also help you on your blog get some traction as well.

Thanks for reading and have a nice day!

I’ve ranked on Google Search results using my keywords and tags.

Writing this short blog to basically share some great news for myself, as I have ranked in google search engine results using my keywords or tags. It’s an amazing feeling and made me more inspired to continue making more attractive, meaningful and unique blog posts.

The good news

Basically, when I’ve tried to search on the google the keywords “Gambling” and “Self-destruction”, I’ve never thought that I would be seeing my website on the first results page. Plus, it’s in the top 10 results which shows that my posts particularly this Gambling is getting some traction to a lot of people. It’s really a win win for me because, I am really an advocate and against all kinds or ways of Gambling. If a lot of people will be able to read it, that is all worth for me.

Here’s to share a screenshot of what I am proud of as of today:

A bit of advice to others who are just starting with your blog and SEO

It’s been only a month or so since I’ve started my blog and I am still very far from my goals yet. However, seeing a great traction with my posts makes me pumped up and continue with this more than ever.

My advice so far is just keep going with what you are doing as a blogger – think of ideas, put it into words, select unique keywords & tags, and post those stuffs as much as you can. Don’t be bother if you are not getting the results, as it will come along the way, for sure. Be patient, don’t expect and keep going.

Thank you for reading my blog. I hope you get something out of it. If you can check out my other posts, I appreciate it.
